Ludmila Foundation

Story & Illustration

When Michaela Tomanová approached me to collaborate on the Ludmila Foundation, we wanted to take a different path than a traditional corporate logo. The goal was to bring humanity, lightness, and a deep personal legacy into the visual communication. I created a central illustrated character that pays tribute to family tradition and the memory of the founder’s mother-in-law, Mrs. Ludmila, through the motif of a ballerina. The character intertwines the lightness and discipline of dance with a book in hand, symbolizing support, education, and empowerment for young people.

From Paper to Event

We didn’t leave this visual style only on screens. For the official launch gala, I translated the illustration into physical materials that shaped the atmosphere of the entire evening. I designed: • The official press wall, which carried the foundation’s identity in the media and photographs. • Event invitations, cocktail menus, and custom cards for the guest tables.

"Veronika Zachová was able to translate our story, values, and mission into one meaningful symbol." - Michaela Tomanová, founder of the Ludmila Foundation
