My Journey into Fashion Illustration – Interview for CzechStartups.org
How did I get into fashion illustration? Why does fashion fascinate me, what role did the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program in Cyprus play, and what did it give me — and take away?
That’s exactly what I talked about in my interview for CzechStartups.org. It was an honest and open conversation about my creative journey — about how I found the courage to follow my dream, and why illustration for me isn’t just about pretty pictures, but about telling stories, emotions, and moods.
It was an intense, beautiful, and sometimes challenging chapter of my life — but above all, I gave myself a chance. Along the way, I met people who believed in me before I managed to believe in myself.

My First Experience as an Illustrator at LAVRS Market in Vnitroblock
On May 1, 2025, I took part in the LAVRS Market for the very first time as a fashion illustrator – and it was absolutely worth it! In the beautiful space of Vnitroblock, Prague, I had my own little table where I spent the whole day drawing live fashion portraits (yes, live sketching!), meeting amazing people, and experiencing the energy of a design event from the other side for the first time.
I have to admit, it was quite a challenge – but also a huge joy. So many kind reactions, personal encounters, and unforgettable moments. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, bought an illustration, or simply smiled and had a chat. That’s what I truly love about this work – being among people, sharing the joy of fashion, illustration, and creativity.
What did I offer? – Live fashion sketching right on the spot – portraits in the style of fashion illustration – Sale of my original art prints – A chance to see my work in person and ask questions about the creative process
This experience reminded me why I love illustration so much – and that I want to share it beyond the walls of my studio.
What’s next? If you missed the May edition of the LAVRS Market – don’t worry! I’ll be part of the next LAVRS event at Vnitroblock in September. Stay tuned for updates, because I’m preparing new prints and surprises.
Thank you for following my journey. I can’t wait to meet you in person next time! ❤️

When Creativity Meets a Story: Individual Lesson with Andriani
When Creativity Meets Story: A One-to-One Session with Andriani
One morning in Larnaca, I spent a beautiful creative session with Andriani — a young woman who couldn’t attend my workshop at the Maker Space but still wanted to create. So, we arranged an individual fashion illustration lesson — and it turned out to be a wonderful experience.
My First One-to-One Lesson It was actually my very first individual class focused on stylized fashion illustration with markers. During our drawing session, we explored proportions, line work, and body stylization. Everything flowed at a natural pace, with an emphasis on the joy of creating.
From Creativity to Connection As we drew, we talked not only about illustration but also about local traditions, Czech culture, and how art can connect people. Andriani is passionate about art techniques and art therapy — and this intersection reminded me of how powerful art can be as a language beyond words.
What I Take Away from This Lesson – Creativity truly is an international language – Every encounter carries meaning – An individual approach allows for a deeper creative experience – Art connects not only hands but also hearts
Thank You for This Experience This individual lesson was a deeply inspiring and meaningful moment for me.
I’m grateful for every meeting that enriches me — and for the trust people share when they open up through art.
📩 Would you like to have your own individual lesson or a tailor-made creative session? Write to me — I’d be happy to create a space just for you.

Christmas Falconeri Event
During the pre-Christmas season, I had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with the Italian brand Falconeri on a special event held in their stores at Chodov and Palladium in Prague. Over two days, I created quick fashion portraits of customers, which they could take home as a unique keepsake from this festive experience.
The event For the occasion, I designed a Christmas-themed illustration frame that matched the store’s décor and enhanced the holiday atmosphere. Using markers, I captured the individual style and personality of each guest – their gestures, expressions, and elegance.
The atmosphere The whole event had a warm and friendly vibe. The customers’ reactions were beautiful and often moving, reminding me once again how powerful the connection between art and personal experience can be.
If you’re planning a similar event and looking for an artistic touch to make it truly special, I’ll be happy to discuss ideas and create something unique for your guests.

Perspective and Fashion Illustration Course at UAL
Constantly moving forward and learning new skills from the best is essential for anyone who wants to grow in their field. That’s why I decided to refine my abilities and travelled to London — first to attend a Perspective Workshop with Natalia Arnold, and later to complete an intensive course at the University of the Arts London led by Anastasiia Stankowicz Fitzgerald.
Workshop at the V&A Museum This one-day workshop gave me a solid foundation in perspective drawing. It was fascinating to dive into different techniques and see my skills improve with every exercise. In a small group, we sketched around various parts of the museum, capturing objects from multiple angles and learning new approaches to composition and depth.
Fashion Illustration and Drawing Course at the University of the Arts London The Fashion Drawing and Illustration Short Course was designed to unlock students’ creativity and inspire them to experiment with diverse techniques and media. It was incredibly intense but also deeply enriching.
During the course, we learned to:
- Draw human proportions, movement, and drapery.
- Work with texture and shading.
- Use watercolors, inks, pastels, acrylics and gouache.
- Develop a person style and undeerstand the importance of colour compostition.

1. Workshop “Stylized Fashion Illustration"
My first fashion illustration workshop was an unforgettable experience — full of creativity, laughter, and inspiration. I met wonderful participants who together created a truly magical atmosphere.
What did we create? We dived into the basics of stylized fashion illustration — from the very first pencil strokes to the final touches with markers. The workshop was structured, starting with the theoretical foundations of proportions. Then we moved into the creative part, where each illustration reflected the unique personality of its author — something that made me incredibly happy.
Where did we create? The workshop took place in a cozy space at Brumlovka, which provided the perfect environment for creativity. A huge thank-you goes to Marika Duchoňová for helping with the organization.
What did this workshop give me? Creating together with others is deeply fulfilling for me. Sharing my knowledge and seeing the participants leave not only with finished illustrations but also with joy from the process and fresh inspiration was the greatest gift I could receive. I’m already looking forward to the next creative gathering!
