Fashion Illustration Workshop for Fashion Design Students at Alexander College, Larnaca

had the opportunity to lead a marker-based fashion illustration workshop for Fashion Design students at Alexander College in Larnaca.

The workshop focused on line confidence, movement, proportion and expressive silhouettes. We explored how to capture the essence of a fashion figure quickly and decisively using markers, without overworking the drawing.

Students worked with dynamic poses inspired by runway aesthetics and experimented with developing their own visual language. The emphasis was on energy, clarity and personal interpretation rather than perfection.

Alexander College is a British higher education institution operating in Larnaca, and working with fashion design students in an academic environment was a truly inspiring experience.

The atmosphere was open and creative. Students were curious, engaged and willing to experiment. It reinforced my belief that fashion illustration is not only about finished artworks, but also about teaching a way of seeing, simplifying and expressing ideas visually.

I am grateful to Alexander College for the invitation and for the opportunity to contribute to their creative program.
